Pleasant Lake Residence

The db team was commissioned to design the landscape for a new modern home on Pleasant Lake. The property had previously featured a renovated cottage for which db had also designed, permitted, and built the landscape more than 15 years ago.

The clients wished to preserve the spirit of the original design while accommodating their new, contemporary residence designed by Murdough Design Architects. The resulting landscape honors the original layout while evolving it to complement the home’s modern architecture— merging clean lines, functional spaces, and a natural lakeside aesthetic.
